Modernisation projects across nine schools located in the north-east Victoria, ranging in value from $300K to $500K. Projects include full building refurbishments and new-build and refurbishment of toilet facilities. We worked closely with each school community to understand their unique requirements and through a rigorous design process, delivered innovative solutions that offered schools more scope with less budget in each project. For example, the project at Ardmona Primary School converts a disused storeroom into new student toilets and with surplus budget refurbished administration areas. Maroopna Park Primary School transforms a derelict toilet block renowned as a site for bullying and truancy into a contemporary amenity with individual unisex toilets. The compact arrangement enabled left-over space to be converted into a new staff workspace and additional storage for the school.
