A re-imaging of a school gym to breath new life and purpose into disused spaces to create an adaptable and multi-functional facility. Bonbeach Primary School was the recipient of a gymnasium as part of the local high school closure. The gymnasium has been both a blessing and a curse for the School.

Bonbeach Primary School was the recipient of a gymnasium as part of the local high school closure. The gymnasium has been both a blessing and a curse for the School; whilst providing a much-loved sports space, it is disconnected from the main school and has many disused spaces. The key drivers for this project are to better connect, both physically and visually the gymnasium with the main school buildings and breath new life and purpose into disused spaces. The old change rooms are converted into an art space, a multimedia and music room. The toilets are refurbished and the entire building upgraded for DDA compliance.
